The Greek bows to Poker Tour Legends

Underdog run not to be, as Jim falls on Day one

SALINE, MICHIGAN  OCTOBER 19, 2005

He lasted around 6 hours on day one of the $10,000 entry World Poker Tour event, but it was not to be.  John "Tex" Barch, who finished third in the World Series of Poker main event winning $2.5M, took Greek down after Jim [check out jimmansfield.com],  went all in holding Ace-King suited.  Tex flopped a pair and Jim was sent to the showers.  Per Jim, who plans to launch his new blog soon and will provide us all with some additional insight, the pros all seemed to know what Jim was holding.  When Greek had a good hand, everyone folded.  When Jim was holding weak cards, they bet the pot up.  My advice to Jim: Avoid going all in against guys named "Tex".
