Timmy Adams Dominates Eating Contest, Shows Generosity

BOSTON, MASS  NOVEMBER 28, 2004

Eating chicken wings is an art.  Like most forms of art, many people fancy themselves 'experts' or 'professionals', but few truly ever have the chance to prove it.   Tim Adams

took that chance on one November weekend and blew away countless pretenders.  Drawing on lessons learned sucking down hot wings at bars like Ann Arbor's Good Time Charley's, Tim took it right to the field and ate his way up onto the champion's podium.   Tim woke up this morning not sure of what the day would hold.  But when the call came out to all those who dare challenge for the title of the Frank's Red Hot 'Wing King', Tim answered.  And then some.    Not only did Tim defeat countless competitors on this evening, he also donated the entire $125 of prize money to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.  That's right - all of the winnings straight to the #1 charity as determined by this website.

So, you can pick your poison with this man.  Respect Tim Adams because his Patriots and Red Sox are World Champions.  Or maybe you respect him because he's the reigning gregdooley.com college bowl champion.  Perhaps the respect comes from his generous support to JDRF and/or his most recent chicken wing title.  But friends, no matter which of these reasons you choose, you must respect this man.  Way to go TA!
