brew sipped out of the champion's cup?
I wouldn't know. But tonight, 2
more men can answer that question as Reg
Riggs and Rick Schild won the coveted
Tri State Golf League title, putting up
a strong 17 of 22 points to secure their
first championship at Hunter's Ridge
Golf Course outside Howell Michigan.

Rick and Reg were presented with the cup
by last year's winners,
Ron Dooley and
Steve Shirer. As is now custom,
the victors earned their spoils. . . in
the form of a hearty swallow of beer
served in the most righteous chalice:
the TSGL trophy.
Only current and
former champions may take part in this
timeless ritual.
Solid finishes by Team Dooley/Shirer
(3rd) and Team Kuehne (2nd)
rounded out the Top 3 in the fourteen
