McEnroe Show Blows Tennis legend sucks on CNBC.  Mac, your show bites the biggie. SALINE, MICHIGAN  JULY 7, 2004 Update 7/18/04 - It's not just me.  Read another guy's take here.

I just caught the debut of John McEnroe's new show on CNBC, "McEnroe", and it was painful to watch.  (see Mac pictured to the left, pretty much expressing how I felt watching his show).  It being his first show maybe I should give him some slack.  But I can't.  He turned the minutes to hours.  A brutal show.  And this opinion was formed while he was interviewing the great Will Ferrell.

This is too bad, because I love the guy on the tennis court and in the booth calling the major tournaments.  He is really one of the best commentators in sports.  But Johnny Mac, I'm begging you, you've got to stop this show now.  In fact, please cancel all thoughts of talk shows, game shows and other forms of media unrelated to tennis. 

At one point I was considering getting McEnroe's book, You Cannot Be Serious [Amazon.com reviews].  Now?  No chance, Johnny Mac.
