Stand Tall, Brawny.... B-lads a-lookin' for props after they take the title (AP) |
Hail the Brawny Lads, champions in 2000!
The Brawny Lads, led by Kelley Kuehne and Greg Dooley, swept through both the regular season and the playoffs to capture their first Tri-State Fantasy League title.
Although the team was strong from top to bottom, the key to the team's success was the ability to select Daunte Culpepper and Terrell Owens in mid to late rounds in the draft. In addition, Brawny was able to collect a stable of running backs including Fred Taylor, Robert Smith, Emmitt Smith and Lamar Smith.
The 10 team league was run from a free website offered by CBS Sportsline.
