Move In Complete

 New residents in Saline, Michigan

SALINE MI  DEC. 17, 2001

Thanks to a lot of help from many friends, we are in our new house.  After closing on Friday I picked up the flaw 24' International at Ryder and headed up to East Lansing to get Jessica's goods out of storage.  We then moved to her sisters apartment and to my parents house to pick up some furniture, wedding gifts and clothes.  Thanks to Todd, Eric, Mr. Kemp for all their help.

That night we got the word that the sellers, Chuck and Elise Zurawski, we're completely out of the house.  We then started up the truck and rolled in.  Thanks to Tim Kemp, Sarah, Jamie and Melissa, we moved in all the stuff we picked up Friday.  On Saturday, our attention turned to my apartment.  My brother Ron met me at the apartment with 4 hot cups of Timmy Horton's coffee.  Tim Kemp soon met up with us.

Four hours later we had everything loaded onto the truck and headed to McDonald's (G: Double quarter Pounder w/ cheese combo, Supersized....R: Double quarter Pounder w/ cheese combo, Large....TK: Chili cheese special hamburger meal.(?)).

Meanwhile back at the house, Jess, Jamie and Melissa were unpacking the stuff from Friday.  We backed in the truck at around 1pm and started unloading.  Soon we were joined by my mom and dad and Jill and Mr. Kemp.  By later that afternoon we had most of the stuff off the truck and into the house.

On Sunday morning Sarah Kemp and Jess cleaned the apartment and Ron, Todd and I dumped off the trash, filled up the truck (diesel) and dropped it off at Ryder.

Thanks again for everyone's help.
