A Tale of Two Flag Poles

Fallout from Michigan vs. Michigan State Football 2003.

Insult to Injury, Part II

Enormous Emblem is erected at TSHSC

HOWELL, MI    NOVEMBER, 6, 2003

Apparently inspired by the tom foolery that occurred last weekend at the Dorgan household, it looks like a new flag flies proudly above the headquarters of Tri State Hospital Supply Corp., up in Howell, MI.  Unnamed sources confirmed that the 5' x 8' monster was erected in a special ceremony on Tuesday.

Last we checked, Howell was officially on the Green portion of the state, so one assumes the new flag has steamed a few of those at the office today.  Best we can tell there is no connection between this incident and the Dorgan heist.

Dave's Precious Pennant is pilfered

ANN ARBOR, MI    NOVEMBER, 4, 2003

Webmaster:    In addition to witnessing a well fought, but nevertheless devastating loss to the Wolverines last Saturday, I returned home to Ann Arbor with yet one more reminder of the Spartan defeat.

Ole Glory (my 3'x5' MSU flag purchased during my undergraduate years) was savagely removed from my house
and was replaced with a similar sized, but personally less appealing 3'x5' U of M flag (see right).  To date, no one has owned up to the CRIME and Ole Glory is still M.I.A.  I will keep your web-cronies posted of any new developments.
