Pickled
EMPIRE,
MICHIGAN JULY 13, 2003
Word on the street is that a
collection of well-behaved young gentlemen assembled at
Brad
Bagaloff's pad in Empire this past weekend to celebrate a bachelor
party for Eric "Pickles" Clausen.
The group was rumored to include Joel
Peterman, Brian 'Scoop' Gordon, Spike Fuehr, Andy Whitmore, Kays,
Rod & Ken Sweckard, Chris Hawley, Matt Tomlinson, Greg Laberge
amongst others and was hosted by Eric's big brother, Gregg "G.
Clawdog Liddy" Clausen.
The featured acts of the weekend:
-
Rod & Hawley went after the modern
record for sleep deprivation. They lasted over 36 hours but
fell short of the record. Memo to you two: Try going
after a record you can handle, such as Bobby Brady's junior
Seesawing title.
-
Being awake for 36 hours requires
activities to occupy the time. So Rod, Ken and Chris provided
the quiet town of Empire with their own version of Shock & Awe:
An all night fireworks session that prompted a series of calls to
Brad's house from furious neighbors. Nice work. I
suppose that 36 hours of debauchery and bottle rocketry should be
commended.
-
Brad's soon to be brother-in-law Matt
scraped pot after pot off all the 30 something know-it-alls during
poker play. Take this memo: "Hey college boy, screw you and
your neverending string of boats."
